As of 12/21/16, yesterday, I began the "Wraith and Ruin" Trial but as soon as I get to the "A long time ago in a galaxy far far away" screen the game just freezes and will not continue, and in order to exit the game I must restart my computer. Any answer to this?
Yo @Darth-Hunter999, probs way too late to be of help, but if you're still getting stuck with the initial cutscene there are a few things you can try.
First step is always to try lowering graphics settings in game - especially if your PC/laptop is on the lower end of the min. specs required for the game to run properly. KotFE and KotET cutscenes are a little more resource-heavy than previous ones were, so you should also make sure you don't have a ton of other programs running in the background (don't try updating Steam or Skype or something while playing through the cutscene!!).
If you're still getting stuck, maybe try running through the standard mission troubleshooting (found here and here), and make sure that this is not a known issue (you will see it posted in the first stickied post on the SWTOR AHQ here or on the Dev Tracker here if it is) - known issues often have workarounds posted on the AHQ or the swtor.com community forums.
