KotFE Chapter IV - Companions don't spawn in

Hi, I've bought subscriber yesterday and started playing Knights of the Fallen Empire on my Sith Inquisitor- Assassin. I got to Chapter IV, in the swamp, and did everything without a companion. I didn't realize I needed one untill I got to the boss, "ancient swamp rancor". I miss HK-55, he was in the cutscene but didn't spawn in after the cutscene. He wasn't in my N tab where companions usually are, and I've reset the mission several times.

Does anyone know how to get HK-55? I've been searching for this a while now and everyone on youtube etc. has the companion, and they have no problems. Thank you!

There was a bug some time ago which would block the companions if you had 2 chapters open at the same time (only possible if Chapter I was reaccepted at the ship terminal). 

If you have 2 chapters active in your mission log, complete Chapter I first and reset Chapter IV afterward and HK should be back. 

@henkdest Just checking in, were you able to continue with @Tonfu's workaround?
