10 years agoKoth is gone
How do I get Koth back? I absolutely can't stand listening to or reading the boring conversations and stuff in progression. I'm here to play a game, not watch a boring movie or read a book. Anyway...
You know that thing they keep saying since KOTFE was announced, "CHOICES MATTER!" ? Well it turns out it actually does 😉
Where was it advertised though?
Here is how I play this game...
* I log in and hit play.
* I usually will read at least the subject line on ingame emails sent to my toons. It's usually junk so seldom read the whole thing.
* I will usually read at least the subject line of emails sent to my actual email account. These are usually junk also and so I seldom read the whole thing.
However, I went back and looked at both (I usually hold onto them for a month or more before deleting) and seen no mention of losing a pet or anything about conversations in this story line.
I didn't even know for sure when this expansion was going to release. I woke up, logged in and I had a new mission to continue progression. So, I hit "play now".
Anyway, I'm guessing from these responses that there is no way to reset it. Is that correct? Do we know when the next expansion is going to release and whether Koth will be returned?
Thanks for the reply.

give that a read. like literally the first thing there.
"CHOICES THAT MATTER
Be at the center of a personalStar Wars™ story where choices matter and impact outcomes."
maybe you should pay more attention and just not skip through everything.
Lol, who goes to a web site in order to play a game that you don't even connect to via that web site? That doesn't even make sense.
I could understand if they sent me something in my in-game email saying I should go to that link. However, clicking your link was honestly the first time I had seen that page or even a mention of it.
NOW, I have obviously gone to SWTOR website before... though, I'm not sure I've ever posted or anything before now. However, I do know I've NEVER gone to the website in order to access the game or anything like that. I go there when I need help with something. Like when I run across what appears to be a bug or something and I'm looking for a solution. However, that happens maybe once every 3 to 4 months at most.
I completely get how others feel this game is more than just a game. How they want to interact outside the game on a website, etc. Okay, I don't really get why you would want to do that... but I do get that people do. However, why in the heck would playing a game REQUIRE that you go there? That just seems ridiculous to me. AGAIN, I could see them sending me an in-game email (AKA ADVERTISE) saying to go to this or that link for required game info... but to expect me to just magically know when to go out and where to look when such important things come up? I just don't see that as being reasonable. And I most definitely don't see it as being reasonable to expect me to go out and try to navigate that atrocity of a website every single day in the POSSIBLE change there might be something important to read. Especially since this is the first time I've seen since the game came out where something was put there that was actually of major consequence to game play.
Btw, thanks for the link though. At least now I know what people are talking about.
Btw, even if I went to that site on a daily basis, why would I even read that page you linked? It's an advertisement for people that aren't already members. I've been a member since day one. I would have never gone to that page, let alone read it.
Also, I just read it now and all it says is that choices matter. It says nothing about losing a companion. I mean, choices have ALWAYS mattered. They just never mattered that much. Usually just faction and stuff. And like I've said already, even then you usually get a graphic or something indicating you are about to take a faction hit. And even if you pick the wrong thing you can go back and undo it somehow... either by getting faction elsewhere or simply resetting the mission.
Maybe an explanation here, about Koth :
