Login Problems

Thanks for the info. Apperently I had the wrong password.

As soon as I figured out the correct one I was able to use the lost key directions.

I think those docs are outdated or I'm doing something wrong....

I'm at the part 'To remove your Security Key from your account:' specifically the image below the text:

We’ll ask for your Security Key Code. Under the Security Key code box, click on Lost your Security Key?

It shows a Lost your Security Key? hyperlink, however when doing this step when logging in at swtor.com this does not appear.. I can only see the text 'If you don't believe you have a Security Key attached to this account, you'll need to contact Customer Service.'

That would mean i'll have to make a phone call to customer support by the looks of it ☹️

Well, as I wrote. Everytime I tried to remove the security key or reset my password I got error messages, but as soon as I typed in the correct password I was able to remove the security key without calling them.

Since the swtor and EA are the same now try resetting your EA password and try to login with that instead?

Or call the support.

Yeah, I'm having the same issue trying to remove my key in that: there's no Lost your Security Key? hyperlink. I tried going through the actual game launcher, and the hyperlink appeared, but it took my to the same link as contact Customer service...

Hopefully I'm just doing something wrong, and they haven't removed the feature that allows you to remove Security key. Pretty sure I got the right login and password because when I typed other things it said "Login Failed", but not with one specific password.

Don't get your hopes up, I've got this problem for the last 3 years, so every now and then I check this over. Honestly, I refuse to call them for something so simple
