ive been playing this game since launch, subbed and hit a break around late 2014, and start re-playing just recently with no avail. considering i was playing usually with my old rig from 2010 (win 7) i never had connection issues when downloading and installing considering my connection at the moment was way inferior to what i have now. the difference this time i got rid of my rig from way back when and start redownload the game to laptop (win 10). first try was succesful to 50% and was froclicking in the starting planets with new chars, until it reached 99,89% and got nowhere. been following https://answers.ea.com/t5/Troubleshooting-Guides-Info/Guide-How-to-Switch-to-Non-Streaming-Launcher/m-p/4867417#M1564 and practically redownload, and it stopped downloading main assets 1, and reckon a clean install could do the trick, so i uninstall and reinstall it 2 days ago and it got stuck at minimum download at 99,5 and sometimes it fluctuates between 99,5-99,42 and gone on a loop i guess for more than 6 hours.i'm reaching to anyone for answers, i missed this game and it drives me crazy just to install the damn thing!

@WiraprajaChony If you've gone through all the troubleshooting for BitRaider (repair, enabling the service, unspecified error, etc.), you might have better success troubleshooting why your non-streaming download of main assets 1 stopped instead, if you're okay with another re-download. In the meantime, could you attach your dxdiag?

@WiraprajaChony Can you open a command prompt as administrator and type sfc /scannow see if that fixes anything Switching to Non streaming may be worthwhile moving forward

@WiraprajaChony Are you able to test with a different internet connection ? If not grab www.pingplotter.com and set it to say www.google.com while the download is occurring and graph when downloading, that graph can be saved as a jpg and inserted into a post here.

@WiraprajaChony The only other thing i can think of for the log to register bad data ,as if it was a CDN more then one person would have this issue currently Although you can change the dns it should change the CDN used in most cases, like try 8.8.8.8 (googles) as a DNS server for example Now other causes of that error in the log is usually down to bad ram , this may also explain why both patch methods are failing, SSN is actually way more sensitive to bad memory then bitraider. other then that cant hurt to do a chkdsk to ensure there are not bad sectors on the drive if not already. Now another thing with Bitraider is that 5400RPM drives struggle with its patch method and given you have a WD blue drive it is 5400RPM, they actually recommend do not attempt to play once minimum download is reached and wait for the entire game to install - see streaming in this link System:If your system has any of the following, we recommend you wait for the download to complete before playing: Less than 3GB RAM Integrated graphics (typical on laptops) 5400 RPM or slower hard drive Hope this helps

for 2 patch methods to fail there is something interfering or an issue somewhere causing 2 different patchers to fail for sure

there is also a laucnher log in the log folder that may provide a clue

the logs are over 60000 characters but i notice this line where bitraider fails and audit mentioned.
and i attached the log, maybe someone could understands it better somehow.

Have you run a chkdsk per chance ?

also in the bitraider folder is another log called swtor_swtor it may indicate what file this is occurring on, if you can post that

Might wait and confirm with CS (unsure when they are coming online at present) if they have any further thoughts given the validation error in the swtor_swtor log folder

I am concerned if an SSN install also stopped , there is ample hard drive space ? just to be certain given the game needs 40GB HDD space and may be worth running a chkdsk too just to be certain while waiting.

Can also try a clean boot per this link

You will need to leave the bitraider mini stub loader service running or it will not download at all

also while still looking into this, can you with the launcher closed delete the bitraider folder then start the launcher , this will trigger a file verification process
