I recently returned to SWTOR after a long hiatus, and when logging on, I found that my level 50 Female Bounty Hunter who had high influence with, and had romanced, Torian Cadera had lost all of the influence and the romance appears to be dead/lost/inactive.
Does anyone know if this is a common problem post some patch or? Is there a way to fix it or should I just reroll BH and start from scratch, because I'm kinda angry about it tbh.
EA QV Team@AurJo There might have been some changes to companions in Patch 4.0 when Knights of the Fallen Empire was launched, but if you had Torian at Affection Level 10, your Influence Rank now should be at least 10 out of 50. How are you seeing the romance flag gone?
Hello hello! :D Thanks for answering. On closer look, I see the influence level was around lvl 10– the bar had just extended so much that it seemed gone (and i was pretty tired when I made the original post). However, I think the romance flag is gone because he only reacts now to Trophy or Weapon gifts and no Courting (as before, they were Favorite status). There’s also nothing in his bio, but I’m not sure if there is supposed to be or not. If there’s a way to check in-game through one of the sheets, I’d love to know to confirm for sure.
Granted, my hiatus was.... uh. About three years, so. I’m not surprised I’m rusty at picking stuff back up. If I’ve overlooked something, please let me know, I’m happy to correct.
EA QV Team@AurJo Unfortunately all romance flag stuff is greatly shrouded in mystery, even from support folk like us and the in-game guys. I don't know if they can even change or affect the status of a character's romance, sadly.
If you're a subscriber you can submit a bug report to bring it to the QA department's attention, but there might not be anything that can be done, other than continuing the story and potentially re-kindling the romance after/during KotFE.
