Missing story mission?
I returned to the game, saw the nifty activities launcher and thought that was how the new story flashpoints were launched. i ended up finishing Crisis on Umbara without the story mission leading up ...

Can you click on your character portrait and right mouse click and select "reset all active phases" see if the terminal offers "solo" mode
Unfortunately, my choices are still story/veteran/master even after resetting the phases. And there's no mission available, just the FP.
just to confirm you are at the fp entrence and trying to get from the terminal located there

- Thanks for all of the suggestions - unfortunately, it still hasn't helped. There's no solo option offered on the mission console in front of the FP. I can easily choose the story option on either of the FPs, but no solo for either.
