Need to disable or reset authenticator

I would like to play this game again, but I currently have an authenticator associated.  I have long since lost the information on that.  How can we resolve this situation?

    See this link

log in with your username and password but leave the security field blank , it should take you to the screen shown in the link to remove the key.

  • I was having this issue as well. I found out what the problem was for me. Might be your issues as well.  I kept using the launcher when trying to get to the one time code. Kept sending me to the ea support screen too.  Try it from the swtor website. Log in there and do as these people instructed. It sent me straight to the screen they have been referring to.

Nope. It's not showing up for me anywhere.

Ok I got it sorted via the customer support.

The support dude was REALLY confused because this seems to be a bug. He had no information about this "Did you lose your security key?" thingy not showing up and couldn't replicate the problem either.

He then sent me a randomly generated code I had to tell him via phone to verify my email address. After that, he made the website send me a one time password and I could remove my security key.

The problem is that Germany updated their privacy laws so he couldn't just remove the security key for me. This could be less of an issue if you're not German should you have the same problem.
