problems with quest- a kindly old monster

Question

So non-subs can't get direct help? that's crummy for those of us that had to drop to preferred.

Anyways, so any help on the quest chain " A Kindly Old Monster" for the Dr. on Alderaan. Did the entire quest chain, raghoul tunnels and all and went to sarlaac pit and the canister wouldn't show up (says it shows up on the ledge). So I clicked to restart that portion of the quest and it reset the whole thing... back to square one of having to resubmit all the samples and pricey items to him to gain his trust...&nbsp;

Is there any way to fix this? I can't ask the SWTOR people directly I guess since I &nbsp;can't contact them since I'm not a sub. Thanks all!&nbsp;

Answer

Sometimes, when a NPC or clickable thing doesn't show up, try switching instances or going to your stronghold and back to the planet, that usually fixes it.

But now that you reset the quest, you have to redo everything. And you're right, only subscribers receive help, but only with important quests like class quests; even as a subscriber you&nbsp;would not receive help with this quest because it is a side quest.
