Progress block in KOTET Chapter VIII (Spoilers)

Hey all. Wonder if anyone can help. Basically in chapter VIII (End Times) of KOTET where you have to get to the gravestone, Lana leaves as a companion then depending on choice made in the previous episodes you either have Lana and Theron or Senya and Arcann. In my play through I have Senya and Arcann.

Anyway after Lana leaves and theres a cutscene with Senya and Arcann, Arcann joins but for some reason on my character, Senya does not and she should do. Arcann is a passive follower and Senya is meant to be a active follower and so without her, I have no form of heals for the fight with Vaylin which makes it near impossible and arcann dies is seconds.

Senya is being displayed as a main character but not has a follower when I bring up the contacts window which I think is the issue, i believe my characters story is bugged somehow. 

I have been playing online games since Everyquest 1 and so I have learned to try lots of things if Issues like this occur. I have reset the quest, used /stuck, tried going to fleet to reset, going to Stronghold to reset, logged different character, lots of stuff but she will not join as a active follower although she plays out in the cut-scenes.

I have watched video after video from different perspectives and everyone has a follower during the final phase whereas I do not and unless it can be grouped then Im snookered unless it can be resolved as this my main character.

    Posted this in a similar post and reposting here to save me re-typing 🙂

    Well a CSR did contact me the very next day and what he suggested was spot on and worked, their name was Alexandra.

    What my issue was that I had started by mistake, Chapter 01 of KOTFE despite the fact I had completed it previous, the game still thought that Senya hadnt  yet made an appearance in the story and so it wouldn't spawn her in later episodes of KOTET. Now I've dont a fair share of games coding myself and I know how hard it is to plan for ever single issue when you have a branching story with many paths as bioware do in their RPGs and MMOs, alls forgiven 🙂

    Anyway if you have any older episodes you are replaying then finish them first and dont start any more. I mean if it had happened on other chapters or I have made other choices then this wouldn't have mattered but with my game state it was game breaking regards progress in KOTET.

    Run a game repair just to be certain 

    Non-Streaming launcher - Log into the launcher but don't click Play. Check for small letters "ST" in the bottom left corner.
    If this is NOT present, With the new launcher after login , select the username pulldown on the top right and select settings, then press repair.
     
    Streaming launcher - If the letters "ST" is present, close the launcher, right mouse click on the game shortcut,
    select open file location and delete the BitRaider folder. Then start the launcher
     
    if that doesnt help if a subscriber make a ingame ticket in regards to this
     
    will monitor for similar posts to see if an emerging issue after the recent patch

    Actually not tried that, one of the first things I should have tried and so thanks for the suggestion, trying it now.

    Its weird because even arcann is bugging out severely and Senya's voice is playing like when approaching either Vette or Torian in my case to save them so the game acknowledges they should be there but Senya is not.

    I just hope the game repair fixes it 🙂

    Just ran the repair, it was fast as on Samsung SSD. It found no errors and Ive tried the game again and the issue remains unfortunately. Its a little annoying as its my main character. Im not sure if that particular mission can be run in a group or with another person? if yes then I could simply get some-one to help me through it.

    This is the only similar thread i found so far and is about scorpio outside of story missing - link

    when you did a reset was it in someplace like fleet , sometimes travelling and resetting makes a difference.

    I have to go for the night (1145pm) here

    will keep an eye out tomorrow see if anyone else is finding similar

    Thanks for the replies. Yeah its a strange one and I suspect Ill have to restart the entire story to correct it and make new choices. Ive heard it takes weeks to answer tickets in Swtor, this is my first and so I have no experience with their CS.

    I can play other characters but I really wanted to get that character through all current chapters.

    CS response is based on ticket load, can be as early as hours to 5 - 7 days if they are swamped

    for average i would of said 24 hours  out to 3 days

    Depends on cause at present , if this is a bug issue it may need to be patched, but not wanting to put the cart in front of the horse so to speak

    I would think they have the option if reset fails to move that charatcer past the bugged area if worse came to worse

    Yeah Ill just play my other classes until its fixed or I get a reply. Ive not seen any other mention of it except people on other chapters with similar issues. The thing that makes it worse is that its pretty much impossible to get past Vaylin without some form of healing, I cant anyway and I have tried many times. I suspect if they moved me onto chapter 10 then the issue may continue as it seems to be some issue with my actual characters data.
