Random Loading Screens and Occasional Graphics Driver Crash

So I've tried everything and can't seem to explain it. I've used new and old drivers and have even upgraded to windows 10 and downgraded to windows 8.1, nothing seems to fix it.

Ever since 4.0 I've been having weird instances where in areas with high volumes of players spawning, or NPCs rendering, the game crashes, or plays the splash screen loading screen with the spinning wheel for about 5 seconds.

It seems to happen a lot on fleet, warzones, operations, typically at the beginning of a warzone, and at the QT area on fleet. I've also had it happen mid guild ship summon, and it LOVES to happen during gharj in Eternity Vault.

I don't have issues like this with any other game (except for battlefront).

System specs are an i7 4710MQ

Nvidia Geforce GTX 880M 8GB VRAM

    For the loading screens, I gather with all the OS hopping you have checked windows power options are back on High Performance.

    Is anything listed in the reliability monitor ?

    do a game repair and delete the games cachefile just to be sure.

    Non-Streaming launcher - Log into the launcher but don't click Play. Check for small letters "ST" in the bottom left corner.
    If this is NOT present, With the new launcher after login , select the username pulldown on the top right and select settings, then press repair.

    Streaming launcher - If the letters "ST" is present, close the launcher, right mouse click on the game shortcut,
    select open file location and delete the BitRaider folder. Then start the launcher
     
    The cache file is called Diskcachearena and found at C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars-The Old Republic\swtor simply delete it and the start the launcher to create a new one.

    Ran a repair already, I've also:

    Clean installed current and old drivers.

    Kept it on High Performance mode.

    Using discrete graphics, NOT integrated.

    cleaned out registry using CCleaner.

    The difficulty with a lot of the fixes I attempt is that the loading screen doesn't trigger until anywhere from 5 min to hours into gameplay.

    I also tend to get the message "swtor.exe has been denied access to graphics hardware" or something of the like saying that my computer's graphics driver has stalled then restarted, though this is less frequent.

    It's not a temperature issue, I very rarely break 70 degrees celsius.

    I am aware of issues with the newest drivers and 860M cards might go and see if anything related to 880m cards

    355.98 seems stable for the 860m not sure if you want to try it as well ?

    it is here  just remember to select custom install and tick clean install

    Also I misunderstood your post and didn't realize that deleting disk cache arena was a valid thing for the nonstreaming client and not just the streaming client since you put it below the streaming client (was late and wasn't thinking)

    Tried that, won't know if it'll work until I don't crash for a while I guess, I'll keep you posted!

    Still not working, reattempting, going to try to see what happens when I disable the loading screens.
