Place the NVidia driver in debug mode and see if it persists, here shows how to place in debug mode
Debug mode basically lowers the card back to NVidia Stock Reference Speeds ( ie removes overclock done by manufacturer from design reference )

Thanks for your answer. But is this really something I need to do in order to play this game without this annoying bug? Nothing Bioware tries to solve?
Seems kinda weird if I need to "reduce" my GPU's power in order to play this game without bugs :S
Have also tried running both windowed and fullscreen but problem still there. The loading screen that occurs feels about the same when you tab out and in into the game.

The last time I saw evidence of a grey screen issue was with EVGA cards , problem was the overclock and EVGA ended up releasing a firmware to lower to core clock by 25MHz and also increasing voltage.
The answer to seeing if it is similar is to place the cards clock rates at what it was designed to be run at , manufactures overclock too much on occasion and instability occurs.
Give it a try place the card at reference speeds and see what occurs
That blank/Grey screen is in reality the video driver resetting not the game
