Uninstall the app from your phone, go to the google play / app store and redownload it. Not sure whether you have android or iPhone but on Android the last update should be June 10, 2015 which is the one you want to have.

- Thanks for the help folks, but I think I found the answer a couple of pages down. Apparently my phone was set to manual time and date, and once I put it back to auto and synced it, everything returned to normal. Strange that being out of sync by even a little bit can cause so many problems.
