FYI.: I have a case, however when I click on 'resume case' nothing happens, the site just takes me back to the default page.

The linked ea account has been disabled and its data has been wiped , that account used a Hotmail email address ( this is a different email to what is used on the swtor account )
use this link (insert the Hotmail email address into that link) to reset the password then login on that EA account
Be sure to use incognito mode with chrome or delete the browser cache and cookies to be sure it isnt cached if purchasing on swtor.comif no access to that email call swtor support when the lines are open https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion-Technical/INFO-Getting-Help-and-Board-Guidlines/td-p/48...
Swtor support have your screenshots but cant add gametime until the above is sorted
