Hmm did you try to remove all mods first then out in the hilt mod? Also try a lower level hilt mod.

I tried all as soon as I saw your post. It did not work. The lightsaber now has all of it's mods removed in preparation
for another solution.
- I assume the lightsaber is not currently equipped?
No, as a sith sorcerer I cannot equip offhand sabers. Also thank you for your patience.
The practically non-existent customer service FINALLY got my item restored. It took 3 days short of a month.
