Re: Server List is empty !

@Kokomo1958

most common causes of no server list

1. blocked by the antivirus or firewall

ESET - disable "protocol filtering"
Kaperskey - disable "scan secure/encrypted connections"
Norton (Firewall) - set exceptions to "Allow" not "Auto"

2. different compatibility modes have been applied to launcher.exe and swtor.exe that will cause no server list as well

3. route issue ( test see if a ping works to gamepad.swtor.com )

    1. I have Kaspersky AV. I disabled the AV completely, it didn't work again.

    2 and 3. How can I do these ? I have no mucc PC knowledge.

    @Kokomo1958

    disabling is not enough for kaperskey , you need to disable scan secure / encrypted connections it will persist even when disabled

  • @proxos666 Any program, firewall or AntiVirus settings has not changed for months on my computer. Everything started after the 6.1.4c game update.
  • @proxos666 I made the change you specified in AV. Then I completely disabled both firewall and AV. Server list is empty again ☹️
  • @proxos666 Thank you so much Proxos666 ! Really ! You solved my problem that could not be solved for 2 months in 2 days. I am really happy ! I was able to enter the game when I made the following suggestions. So glad that I have you 🙂

    " RIght mouse click on the game shortcut and select open file location

    In this location of windows explorer you will find launcher.exe , right mouse click on launcher.exe and select properties, select the compatibility tab , tick "run this program as administrator" and tick " run this program in compatibility mode for " select Windows XP SP 3

    click ok , then back in the windows explorer , double click into the swtor folder, then double click into the retailclient folder, you will find swtor.exe here

    right mouse click on swtor.exe, and select properties, select the compatibility tab , tick "run this program as administrator" and tick " run this program in compatibility mode for " select Windows XP SP 3 , click ok

    Both these need to be identical, now just to be sure

    Go back to the desktop shortcut and do the same thing , right mouse click on game shortcut, and select properties, select the compatibility tab , tick "run this program as administrator" and tick " run this program in compatibility mode for " select Windows XP SP 3 , click ok

    Start the game as normal "

    I've followed every suggestion of yours I found throughout Answers HQ.  Nothing has worked and so I have to think the problem is on EA's side.

    @ferroboy

    if the issue was ea side there would be a lot of people complaining they have no servers right now

    what antivirus are you using ?

    have you tried tethering the computer to a mobile gsm network  (not with home wifi) as a trial of a different internet connection or a VPN ?

  • I have to fun SWTOR off of the play on mac program since I don't have anything but a macbook. I use to be able to run the game just fine, but now the servers are missing for me as well. What are some things i should attempt to do since i am not playing the conventional way.
