When i checked support could not see an email from you with the steam screenshots, if it was not sent via the same email address you have on the swtor account, ensure you mention the swtor account displayname so they can link it to your swtor account

as to account linkage it is permanent, so once you restore the linked ea account to that swtor account, maintain access as it is needed for purchasing on your swtor account, this is why subscribing is failing at present
