    I tried a clean boot, but either I’ve done it wrong or it just didn’t work. Likely the former lol

    @TheGoo83

    The launcher has been updated recently, there is a possibility the antivirus you are using is blocking the update, so check that as well

    if this persists for you. can you email the host.developer.log file found at C:\Users\User\AppData\LocalLow\BioWare\Star Wars - The Old Republic Launcher

    into support@swtor.com using the email address you have used on that swtor account, detail this was requested regarding the launcher not updating

    Feel free to link this thread too in the email

    I see the launcher, but pressing play after putting in my login info will put me in an infinite loading loop. I do not actually get to play

    @TheGoo83

    did you try

    • Game flashes black screen and closes or is stuck at the initial loading screen

    Press the [Windows] Key + [R] at the same time

    Copy the following in to the text box and press ok

    %localappdata%\swtor\swtor\settings

    Open the client_settings.ini file in notepad and ensure the following are displayed within

    Fullscreen = false
    D3DFullScreen = false
    RefreshRate = 60

    Check NativeHeight, NativeWidth, Height and Width ( all 4 ) match your monitor resolution.

    Save and close the file.
    Start the game as normal.
    Change graphic settings within the game as desired.

    I opted for that as well and it didn’t seem to work. I’m honestly not sure what else to do

    what do you mean by loading loop ? do you mean the play button dims and lights up again ?

    I mean the “Log In” button dims and it infinitely displays the blue circle on the display art. As I said, a day prior I was able to play without issue.

    I have not installed anything new and I’ve gone through even disabling my antivirus. The only thing I haven’t tried is downloading it the old fashioned way instead of through steam.
