Yeah, I have, none of those solutions have seemed to work or just wouldn't work in general.

Try running a repair by closing the launcher, right mouse click on the game shortcut,s elect open file location and delete the BitRaider folder. Then start the launcher.
I didn't see any errors in your DxDiag log but I saw bitraider errors in your Launcher Log.
Also ensure that swtor.exe and launcher.exe are added to your antivirus and firewall safe list.
Also what Antivirus program are you using?

I've already run a repair, but since you recommended it, I'll run another one.
I'm running Malwarebytes and I disabled it before launching it to ensure it wasn't caught by it, I'll still add it to the safe lists of everything.

Yes definitely add it as sometimes disabling doesn't fully work for some reason.
Another option is to fully remove bitraider as per this guide here. Sometimes it can just cause issues in general and removing it will resolve it. Keep in mind if you do choose to remove it, it is almost like downloading the game again as it is changing the download from a streaming to a non-streaming launcher.

When the repair is done, if it doesn't work I'll follow the process.
- ApprovedAnonymous7 years ago
Installation's finally done...
I tried the change over to non-streaming and now when I press 'play' it now gives me an error pop-up, here it is:

Hopefully, it's an easy fix and thanks for leading me through this so far.
EDIT:
I'll assume you'll want some logs so here ya go:

Hey @FatalWoIf
Did you install all updates and service packs from this operating system?
- ApprovedAnonymous7 years ago
I believe I have, is there a way to check if I haven't?
Hey @FatalWoIf
Go to the Windows logo below and enter "Windows Update" in the search bar. Now you can check for updates and if available which ones to install.

Starts up a repair scan, I'll edit this post when it finishes.
- ApprovedAnonymous7 years ago
Can confirm I have it up to date.

Same problem as before, the same error message pops up. Perhaps it's something to do with swtor.exe? The actual file? At least now it gives me a bit of loading cycling.

The error you have is normally associated with an issue with C++
Some of the C++ installs can be repaired by going into the add/remove programs instead of selecting uninstall there should be a selection like modify which leads to repair
Swtor normally required 2010 or 2012 Microsoft Visual C++
- ApprovedAnonymous7 years ago
This confuses me a bit because I have 2010 C++ installed. Should I re-install all of them or what?
- proxos6667 years agoHero+
before you do if you have 2012 and up, select them and select "modify" they should offer a repair, if no joy then uninstall 2010 x64 and x86 and re-install them

I shall return when my horrendously slow download speed complies with my requests.
- ApprovedAnonymous7 years ago
Wooh, repairs and uninstalls and reinstalls are now done. and... still the same error message..

Press the windows key and type reliability and open the reliability monitor what is listed for swtor
- ApprovedAnonymous7 years ago
Nothing's listed at all, it actually seems like it's registered this as the first time I've installed Windows.

Take the system to a complete clean boot per this link , this will help narrow down if something is conflicting
- ApprovedAnonymous7 years ago
Alright, I've done a clean boot. What must I do now?
Sidenote: thanks for putting up with me so far
- proxos6667 years agoHero+
See if the game will launch now

Ok go to the swtor folder and copy the launcher.setting file to the desktop for now
Then use this utility and run in the swtor folder , after that copy that launcher.setting file back to the swtor folder and then start the launcher and see what occurs
