Re: Why don't I get back to where i finished?

Flashpoints are handled by so called "Instances" or "Phases" what they are called in SWTOR. They are created when you enter a flashpoint, and destroyed when you leave them (after a short period of time). You can even reset them by yourself by right clicking on your portrait. These instances or phases store the whole state of the flashpoint server side, including story progress, enemies, and so on.

Hi and thanks for your answer! But doesn’t resetting the Phases mean that I reset the whole flashpoint to the beginning? And if not,  when should I reset the Phase? Before I leave the game?

Exactly. Your question was, why you are thrown back to the beginning of the flashpoint after logging out. That's why (logging out for more than ~10 min == reset)

You normally don't need to reset phases. You're not even really supposed to know about this for normal gameplay.
