Disable wifi and test with a LAN cable.
If lag stops, it might be a wifi driver/configuration/hardware issue
If lag persists it could be a program using bandwidth, open task manager (ctrl+alt+supr) and go to networking tab, then menu view, update speed, high. Check if your network adapter is being used while you get lag spikes.
If your network is used while you get lag spikes, you'll have to track the software that is doing this, it could even be windows/windows update
Another option is to try to run the game on other computer at the same time, to check that lag spikes aren't something new to your network instead of something on the new computer.
The game is being played on three separate laptops at the same time. The lag persists even when the other two are turned off. They have no issues.
I tried plugging in a LAN cable before, the lag did seem to stop, however the game became ridiculously choppy and NPC's refused to load unless I was standing 5 feet from them. I thought that in itself was kinda weird so it seems to be a wifi issue with the laptop. I downloaded and ran Guild Wars 2 and World of Warcraft again (a friend logged in, I did not resub to check this >.>) and both run smooth with no lag or spikes in MS. Graph what is occurring over the connection from your system to the modem and out, and see what is shows occurring when the lag start ( if anything ).

Update: The second image is what it looks like when I am not logged into the game, if that helps any.Update 2: Just incase it's of any use, there third image is a GW2 Pingplotter whislt playing. No lag in the game whatsoever.
