If you sub you get RoHC, SoR and all released Chapters of KotFE.
Anything, content wise, you have access until your sub runs out you will still have after.

So if people can get the subscription for 2 months (pay one time) and get the contents for when the subscription ends, I don't really understand, why anyone would buy the add-ons seperately. You have much more advantages with a subscription.
About the connection issues ... I think they are caused by my ISP and there is probably no solution, than to move to another country.
Sadly the complet HP is in an veyr bad shape, so the option to buy the Expacs is still there, I tend to think it an general oversight not anyting sinister.
For you connection issue there are a lot of things one can do to tweak that, ask proxos he plays on Harb from Australia.
