Shae Vizla's Battle-Scarred Armor: Dyes not functioning.

I bought Shae Vizla's Battle-Scarred Armor, and it has a dye slot but when I use the Black and Deep Red dye module it does nothing. I have the module slotted in its proper spot, but no colors change. Even in the preview, colors do not change.
Is this intended? If so, can the dye slot be removed as this is very misleading.

I apologize for the late response but wanted to follow up and see if you got your answer for this? Not sure if you did but from what I found on Reddit and through a Google search this is a known issue with the armor set and unfortunately doesn't dye well.
