    When swtor was released it was a subscriber only , the initial purchase provided 30 days of gametime, it was then moved to a free 2 play model as it is today

    All Skills (except for Speeder Piloting) are now auto-trained on all Characters as soon as they’re earned.

    We’ve also made it easier than ever before for you to switch Disciplines. You don't have to visit the Skills Mentor on the Fleet anymore. You also don’t need to use a Field Respecialization Droid as long as:

    • You’re not in combat.
    • You’re not inside a phased group area.

    To change your Discipline:

    1. Open your Character Sheet (press C by default).
    2. Select the Combat Style tab.
    3. Select the Discipline you want to switch to.

    There's a short timer on Discipline changes to make it easier for you to switch again if you misclicked. Whenever you switch Disciplines, you automatically train all skills for that Discipline.

    @proxos666 I agree that this is how they've changed it now, but there wasn't a form showing this even in the new tutorials they show. Maybe it was better explained with a new character but I wasn't often making new characters trying to get this character unstuck hence I wanted to finish its story. But Star Wars was not always subscription-based, I disagree with that part of your post, even the cases we kids got and installed from never expressed subscription in any way. The choice to change with a subscription changed when they switched it to a free-to-play. We purchased the game(s) in the original month and year of release. Even looking up the subscription time stamp, it only refers to how the subscription works, not when it was changed over. Thank you though for your answer.

        "European launch territories" sorry if we're from different parts of the globe but your article only talks on European territories, not global. Also why are you defending micro transactions to any extent? You're not even answering any of the legal questions?
