Steam Subscription and EA Account Not Found

Question

I tried to buy a subscription last night through the website and I got the message mentioned in this forum post. So in a move I thought was brilliant, I bought it through steam instead. The subscription doesn't appear to have worked, so I followed the instructions in this post and sent an email to support. I noticed in this post that I would have to reset the password on my SWTOR EA account using this link. When I try to do that, it gives me an error saying "We couldn’t find your EA Account."

This EA account (the one this post was made from) has 0 connection to my SWTOR account. They are entirely separate, and it's actually proven to be a problem in the past as well. I'm wondering two things:

1.) Is there anything I can do to get the subscription working on my current SWTOR account?

2.) Is there any possible way of combining my SWTOR account with this EA account?

When i checked support could not see an email from you with the steam screenshots, if it was not sent via the same email address you have on the swtor account, ensure you mention the swtor account displayname so they can link it to your swtor account

as to account linkage it is permanent, so once you restore the linked ea account to that swtor account, maintain access as it is needed for purchasing on your swtor account, this is why subscribing is failing at present&nbsp;
