Steam subscription not working. Support loop.

Hi,

New here with a problem that plagues a lot of players apparently. Didn't know if I should post in another player's topic or make a new one.

As many players here, I encountered the problem where I bought 30 days subscription from Steam and it doesn't activate in-game. I've read all the steps on the forum and applied the majority of advices:

- having the same email address for both EA/SWTOR + password change.

- used different browsers.

- submitting screenshots with my Steam account and purchase history to SWtoR support to prove that I've bought the sub.

- submitted a ticket on Steam which sent me to SWtoR support.

On top of the issue with the sub purchase from Steam, I have the issue in SWtoR account where I can't subscribe directly or redeem a code. The message displayed is written below:

"There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved. Please contact customer support for further assistance."

I've got a generic reply from SWtoR support where it says that I have to call support to resolve the issue. I've tried calling the UK, but unfortunately the number can't be reached. Is this some kind of loop scam? How can I resolve my problem if the only solution doesn't work?

Another big issue is that my a lot of my characters and progression is missing. Feels like my account had a rollback. Do I have to make a different ticket for this as well?

Is there another way to resolve this issue? It's starting to get pretty bothersome.

    Using the same emails on a swtor account and ea account do not create a linkage , each account can have different emails and passwords, linkage is made on the creation of the swtor account

    What is the swtor account displayname ? can check for account issues and they have your email with the screenshots

    You will need to call swtor support when the lines are open to fix the account issue (it will be a fairly easy fix) have an email address ready that is not on any swtor or ea account presently

    The issue is the linked ea account has been disabled and data wiped, the required email to restore that account has already been used on another ea account so you need to call and provide an email address to be utilised to restore the linkage to allow the swtor account  to subscribe 

    When an account is like this no gametime can be added from any source, so steam also fails to add gametime
