Steam SWTOR Launcher Won't Launch

Hi,

I recently built a new PC that is running Windows 10 and has installed SWTOR through Steam.

Whenever I click the green PLAY button in my Steam library, a blank icon appears on my taskbar briefly as the launcher attempts to start but then it immediately crashes.

I watched task manager during this and it shows that the SWTOR Launcher is Suspended.

I have looked through some of the similar posts on here and google and have tried some of the obvious troubleshooting processes like running as admin, verifying the integrity of the game files, and running the launcherDiag.exe. Is there anything I might have missed?

I believe my issue is similar to the one in this thread, but I was unable to locate and delete the file mentioned.

I do still have a working steam install on my other computer. Would copying over the entirety of my SWTOR folder to my new computer be a viable option to get the launcher working?

Any advice or guidance on how to get my launcher to launch would be greatly appreciated.
