I have not played for a while and am looking to get back for a bit. When I tried to purchase a subscription, the website threw the error "There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved. Please contact customer support (https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-support) for further assistance." I already tried the reset EA account password and use a different browser.

use this link insert the email address used on your swtor account, to try and restore the account
use incognito mode with chrome or another web browser to be sure the browser cache isnt an issue after
if it persists you will need to call swtor support when the lines are open to fix the account
