SWTOR Black Screen followed by a crash (Steam version)

So for some reason after the 6.2 update my SWTOR just refuses to launch. I have tried both the original client as well as the Steam version and they both seem to have the same issue. The launcher boo...

    @QuantumToaster12 

    check best you can there are no game overlays being inserted , ie mumble, steam, xbox etc just in case that is causing a crash

I disabled Steam overlay entirely I made sure to close Discord and Xbox so as far as I can tell there are no overlays and the problem persists. I tried running the game after changing the client_settings file again just to be sure.
