swtor chat text flickering - GTX 1070
Hi,
As I play SWTOR now I have upgraded to a GTX 1070 my text continually flickers and when I RP this can be off-putting.
Are there any known fixes for this?

Not sure if you have v-sync enabled or disabled. Either way, try updating the driver.
I have a 1080 but do not see this , I play in fullscreen (window) does it still occur in that mode ?
This is the solution but however, it is not at the same time. The screen is too bright for my liking and you cannot change the 'Gamma' as I like it dark - so this is not viable. Any other thoughts?

is there any change if you go into the nvidia control panel and find the swtor.exe profile and set pre-rendered frames to 1 ?
yes - it already is on one. The whole text flickers, anything that is not the actual graphics of the game.
Ok so this occurs for you in fullscreen mode and not fullscreen (window)
When I have time I'll have a play in fullscreen mode and see what occurs with my 1080 and we can go from there.
