Swtor doesn't work

So, couple of days ago I had a lot of issues with both servers I play on - that is The Progenitor and The Red Eclipse. Whenever I tried to login I'd get a "your connection to the server was lost" error in the middle of loading screen. That probably was the courtesy of my Internet provider. Tried to fix it, somehow managed to fix Progenitor connection (no idea how). Asked on the forum about Eclipse, got a bit of advice, followed it, it didn't help much. But then suddenly in several hours the problem fixed itself. Dunno, maybe my provider decided to stop being an a**hole, or maybe something I did finally kicked in...

Thing is, I wasn't happy for long. Yesterday I started getting issues with The Red Eclipse again. I restarted game couple of times and then the game simply stopped loading at all. All I get is the loading screen with Revan and folks. No sound, no server or character selection.

So, I wasted all night on reinstalling the whole game.

And guess what, the game still won't start. I still get this infinite loading screen and nothing happens. Not even an error message or something. Can't figure out what might have caused this.

And yeah, I am running it as admin. It is added to firewall and AV exclusions. I have restarted my router multiple times.

Also I hardly ever have any issues with connection in any other games or programs, just SWTOR. And only recently. Like the last two-three days, everything was perfect before that.

    Hi again.

    1) I gave my password to a friend of mine. Different OS, different ISP. Game runs fine, my account is fine.

    2) I took an ancient crappy laptop with different OS and the same ISP and installed the game on it. For some reason laptop decided not to install all the patches, but it did install the game itself and it runs fine.

    3) I thought the problem might have something to do with new videodriver, so I went back to older version - nope, that's not it. So I installed the new version again.

    4) And finally...

    MY GAME WORKS AGAIN FOR NO REASON O_O

    I'm kinda nervous about this :D

    Although it started making some weird stuff. Like confetti looking things during loading screen :D You know, these purple and red dots that suggest something is wrong with your videodriver

    EDIT: Never mind that. It was the energy saving mode :D So basically my game just fixed itself with no explanation

    I use Kaspersky Internet Security. Added SWTOR to exclusion list. Also tried running the game with AV turned completely off, nothing changes.

    Well, can't exactly see my issues in this guide...

    Will not Help much but that sounds more like he Problems with Telia/ level 3 there are seemingly maasive packed loeese on there site

    Kaperskey - disable "scan secure/encrypted connections"

    Normally affects login but unticking it in the network section is worthwhile some AV settings persist on disable .....

    Your original issue sounds network related , can test there as well if need.

    Done that - nothing changes, game still won't work.

    I've been using KIS for over a year. SWTOR worked just fine with it even without disabling anything. Hell, SWTOR wasn't even added to exclusions until last week, and everything was fine.

    Same goes for OS. I updated from Windows 8 to 10 over a month ago. I didn't have to additionally mess with anything, SWTOR just kinda rolled with it.

    I also changed Internet provider around a month ago, and while this provider isn't exactly great, SWTOR was still working okay with it. Until last week.

    So, my issues are like super fresh. And I don't know what caused them.

    I gather everything else internet wise appears to be ok

    try a VPN like www.hotspotshield.com as a test in case this is some form of routing issue occurring.

    Did you try the repair ? I am acking you did a re-install

    Couple of days ago when I was getting these "connection lost" errors I checked my connection to both my servers with cmd using their IPs and all that. Also checked ping with general location of my servers (that is Dublin if I'm not mistaken). I'm not an expert here, but I've got connection. A bit slow maybe, but packages go through both ways.

    Right now with that infinite loading screen - err, I don't know what I should check exactly. My connection to the universe? It's one thing when a certain server gets laggy, and completely another - when whole game doesn't work.

    I'll try this hotspotshield thing now, but I'm not hopeful

    No, I didn't try the repair. I got way too pissed off, so decided to go with heavy artillery, so to speak. But it didn't help. I'll try the repair, but why would it work where reinstalling has failed so miserably

    EDIT: I didn't check that before reinstalling, but right now the "repair" button in my launcher isn't active and says that it's active only when errors are found or something like that. Something tells me it wasn't active before reinstalling as well.
