can you delete this client_setting file , if the game is fine on launch (it will create a new client_setting ini) do not set any gfx settings any further then high , i think going past this will crash the game on your system
I think it is a driver issue

i can see the video driver is from december 2022 so its a year old now , latest driver can be found at https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/208658/intel-core-i51135g7-processor-8m-cache-up-to-4-20-ghz/downloads.html and is dated 29 dec 2023
can you also confirm windows updates have been done, the OS identifier seems to say 2022 as well
Thanks. I installed that new driver that you gave me a link for. I appreciate it. The driver on that graphics prog you sent me says the most recent driver for it is from 2022. The game still won't load. Still crashing at the splash screen. Windows Update says I'm completely up to date.

Well, that says it's for "Windows 11 Family". Maybe I don't have the family version lol. I don't know. I just know it says it's up to date.
So again, I don't know. I found an option to update something in Windows Update so we'll see what that does. I don't see why the previous version would've worked for a week and then all of a sudden stop working though. The driver for the graphics program that you sent me is from the Arc console and it says this:
That's why I said it says the most recent version is from 2022. That's what the graphics control panel says. I clicked "Check for updates" and it's not finding anything. But like I said before, the game played fine for over a week and then it just crashed. Why would it work fine and then crash and continue to crash every time I load it? There was no update when I was playing. Nothing changed. It just doesn't make sense. And I even reinstalled the game. If that won't fix it then I don't know what will. This is really frustrating. I appreciate your help though.
not sure what graphic for the video driver your looking at , if that is a hp program they are slack at updating these things

On the windows update image what options are there when you click on "more options"
sometimes the video driver installed needs to be uninstalled to install the latest, if it is a HP video driver installed its waiting for HP to update it but that is unlikely given the date is 2022
The driver you're giving me a link for has this warning on it:
It says it will remove customizations, etc. Is that a bad thing? Could this screw up my laptop more?

no it will be fine, that is standard blurb, given the HP driver is 2 years old you need to update it anyways
can you supply a new dxdiag file want to check the changes

glad to hear is ok now, as long as you dont set the gfx any further then high it should be ok, so avoid "very high"
if you get caught just delete that file again
