SWTOR mobile/physical Security Key

Hi,

I've looked through various posts on this subject but none seem to give an answer that helps.

Firstly I'm a subscriber and have been from the beginning, having bought the special edition with the physical security key. This works fine on my desktop at home. I've now installed the game onto my laptop as my job now means I spend far too long away from home but I still want to play the my game.

Yes I could take the physical security key with me but I don't want to risk losing it and then not playing at all, so I downloaded the Mobile security key onto my Galaxy S6. Now when I run the app it's asking for a serial number to activate it.

Can anyone please tell me what this is and where I can find it.

Before anyone says to go though my 'setting up a security key' on my account, I've been through there and the only option I have is to remove the old security key there are no options for adding further ones.

Please help

As far as I know, you can only have one security key per account. So you have the choice to either:

    • Take your physical key wherever you go, even though you might lose it, or
    • Remove the physical key from your account, and then add a digital key for your smartphone. Then you can no longer use the physical key anymore but you can sign in with the smartphone app instead.

It should be on the back of your physical security key.
