SWTOR no servers when I start game

I just reinstalled SWTOR and when i start the game there are no servers listed. I looked online for an answer and it said to forward my ports, and I used this guide https://portforward.com/pace-plc/5268ac/   But it still doesn't show any ports. I

    My recommendation is remove port forwarding , if there is a firewall on the router , disable it for testing to be sure that isnt the issue.

    Also remove any compatibilities , if there is a different compat applied between launcher.exe and swtor.exe , it is possible for no servers to appear.

    These days it is rare that port forwarding is required

    Most common cause of no server list is antivirus or firewall exceptions for both launcher.exe and swtor.exe may need to be removed and re-added if they exist already.

    I have a normal ATT internet that never had a problem. I use a pace-plc/5268ac/    router. I don't have any special antivirus or firewall, just the windows one. I tried disabling the firewall, tried dumping the dns cache, tried disabling windows defender, tried port forwarding, tried compatibility mode for both programs, tried running both as administrators, I have tried every easy fix I have found online and it still won't work.

  • YOU FIXED IT! THANKS! It was different compatibility settings between the launcher and client.

  • This happened to me after computer was on and power went out.
    tried to log back in but no servers and did not have the choice to repair! it took me a while to figure out what the compability meant or where to find but if you right click it takes you to where you need to go! thank you!

    @Track_Soccer

    This past was from November 2017 so it may have been a coincidence but there was a server issue which  has been solved that was at first causing a login server unavailable message and then a blank server list issue.  See the main thread here.
