SWTOR Security Key

Hey guys

I wanna play SWTOR again after some months. Now, lost my security key. I ask for a One Time Password, but I won't receive it. When I created my SWTOR account I've changed my email into an other email. But again, I won't receive it. I have done some research and internet told me to call to EA.. That's very expensive for me, because I have not so much money. What could I do?

Thanks! 🙂

  • I think you can also use a service like skype to make customer service calls; however, the swtor key no longer works with email to my understanding.

One thing you can try is try logging in to the EA website, EA.com . See if it will send a security code email then. The website still emails those codes out if your account is set up for them. Also check your spam mail or any tab which mail might be sent to in you inbox. However, do be a ware that it seems the code is good for 10 minutes so you might not be able to get another code email until after the last one generated expires.

Also make sure you add no-reply@bioware.swtor.com to your email safe list as that is where the emails will come from.  If your email has a search box use that to see if you can search for it.

If you are still having issues you will definitely need to call Customer Service.  For security purposes account issues can only be assisted via phone.

See db woodynz post here with a link to numbers and how to use skype if you have it.

Using skype with that contact is a free call to the best of my knowledge, that number is only available as per the hours listed (Support available from 9.00 CT - 21.00 CT) so need to confirm time zone etc.
