With the account issue , calling by skype or voip maybe cheaper for you , unfortunately due to the issue type it needs to be via phone i'm afraid
otherwise you could make a new swtor account , that account will purchase just fine
@proxos666
Thank you for your efforts!
"otherwise you could make a new swtor account , that account will purchase just fine"
In this case I think I have to start the game from the beginning?

I have a problem with Steam payments in SW: on November 7th, I bought a 90-day subscription and so far has not been activated. Steam support blames EA. I am sending payment receipts - proxos6664 years agoHero+
swtor account name ? need that to check account for issues edit: gather it is leonscenedypl
you also need to provide screenshots per https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion-Technical/INFO-Steam-Purchase-Not-Working/td-p/9356718/jump-to/first-unread-message

Ok my understanding support have asked you to call and detailed the screenshots you sent them were not valid
to fix the account you need to reset the password on the linked EA account , that EA account does not use the gmail on your swtor account
the email address needed is a @ WP.PL email and it would of been used on the swtor account previously, use the following link to reset the password then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
If you can do that and supply screenshots per the sticky , you can avoid calling , however any issue with doing this you are best to call when the lines are open

@proxos666but i have linked Swtor accout on Gmail mail not wp.pl. this one a dont use for 8-9 years. my account name is leonscenedypl.
Add: screenshot on gmail with changing pssword - proxos6664 years agoHero+
You are best to call swtor support and update the email on the linked EA account , it is needed for purchasing
be sure to email screenshots per the stciky , however they need the account fixed before they can add the gametime

@proxos666and here u have screen on page SW:tor with linked account
all 3 account i have created on gmail.com
- proxos6664 years agoHero+
Linked accounts are per https://help.ea.com/en-au/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-account-linked
You can now have different email addresses and passwords on your SW:TOR account and your linked EA Account, and can manage them independently of one another.Your linked ea account still uses the wp.pl email address , easiest is to phone swtor support when the lines are open , english line opens in 90 minutes
anyways i am done for today its 11:30pm

Can you help me? I have been unable to purchase a subscription on either the website or steam since the launcher update. It gives me the error message: "We're sorry but we can't perform transactions to this credit card. Please load a different one." I don't have a different card so I can't do that, but seeing as many people seem to be having the issue I'm guessing the problem isn't me.
I have tried resetting both my SWTOR account password and the EA account I believe it was associated with, although it has also stopped showing up in my library for some reason.
My SWTOR user name is Invincibleswann.

support do not see any account issue and also cant see any purchase attempts on that swtor account
you also mention , steam is a separate merchant to swtor so if both swtor and steam have the same issue , it maybe something with the card being used
Maybe paypal is an option to try too , also try removing and re-adding the card as well if not done so earlier - 4 years ago
Well, I suppose they wouldn't see any purchase attempts if it won't let me input the card data. I can't see how it would be a problem with the card since I'm using this card to pay for my WoW sub, Disney+, internet etc. Also doesn't seem to have an issue of paying for other games on Steam either.
I also tried to input it into EA and it tells me it cannot verify the card, if that's relevant? (Though I read somewhere that EA doesn't like debit cards.)
I will try Steam again first.
Thank you for your help though. I appreciate it.

I bought the 60 days through Steam and that appears to have worked. Hurray! 🙌
I don't know why it's being so ornery over recurring subscriptions though. Perhaps the Force is telling me I need to play less. 🤔
Thank you again for your help!

Hi mate, i'm having a similar problem to the person above. My only difference is, I have been playing the game before it was added to Steam. I don't have my account linked to steam (if that matters at all), but after coming back after a few months, trying to sub through PayPal does not seem to work anymore, all of my payment history says that it has failed.
I'm really not sure what to do. - proxos6664 years agoHero+
swtor displayname ?

Support have asked you not to attempt purchasing again until they have emailed you to say is ok to try again , they need to send your account to a specific team to get a restriction lifted before trying again

Sounds good, thanks mate. Really appreciate the help.

Hi!
Same problem here.
I sent the required screenshots yesterday and have uninstalled the game via Steam and reinstalled from the SWTOR website. Issue persists. I subbed monthly and also initially purchased 60 days worth of game time.
Any update to my issue?
Hey,
Got same issue. Bought 30 days sub via STEAM and didn't receive it. I've sent mail with screenshots and still no answer from swtor support team.
How long it may take?
- proxos6664 years agoHero+
Swtor account/display name ?
also be aware your swtor account will need to be linked to your steam account for support to add the steam gametime
- proxos6664 years agoHero+
If this is for the swtor account Powerforge , support do not see any email from the email address tied to that account
maybe resend firstup , let me know when sent and i can recheck if it arrives ok
- 4 years ago@proxos666 Thanks for the heads up. I probably sent from the wrong email. I resent the info from my other email account. Let me know and thanks for the /assist!
- 4 years ago@proxos666 It's linked. display name - olivier_daniak
Maybe because in meantime i've changed email address to the one which I use on Steam and probly that's the issue. I will resend mail to support from old mail address.
Thx for help!
