SWTOR taris
One of my quests is to go back to my ship back I have no idea where or how I can get back to it. People have been saying stuff about some lake poison place but I can't find it or how to get in it.

What you're looking for on Taris is the Toxic Lake Garrison. If it is not on your Map when pressing "M", hit the right corner where it will display the world map. It is the speeder taxi icon just above the writing "The Brell Sediment". You can quick travel back to that point, and look for the shuttle that's in the Garrison. This shuttle will take you back to the orbital station where you can get back to your ship.
Alternatively, try joining a guild, or purchasing a stronghold and you will always have access to your ship via the "exit area" button above your mini map inside the Stronghold.
