Your account has been sent to studio for fixing ( there is no timeframe ) they should email when it is fixed
to subscribe for now, if you install the game via steam and login and play on a character to be sure the accounts are linked , you can then subscribe via steam whilst this gets sorted

If you call swtor support when the lines are open , they can help you resolve the issue on the account

There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved. Please contact customer support (https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-support) for further assistance.
I also get this error when trying to subscribe again through the website. Tried resetting my EA password, deleting cookies and using incognito... nothing works.

Hello. My swtor account name is Rcadiaa
I have also gotten the same error message as posted by others in the thread. I have tried resetting my ea account password as well as verifying that the information is correct and consistent across both my EA and SWTOR account. Also tried incognito mode but unfortunately that didn't work.
I am currently trying to subscribe - any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Will download the game through Steam in the interim.

I have the same issue.
SWTOR name GeckoBarrage. I've just tried calling the customer service line but the connection is awful - could you please do the same for me?
