Trooper Class Mission: Eclipse Squad. Cannot Progress

Apparently there is a bug report about that here:

So far no work around as it's been happening on Rishi with other classes too not just trooper class.  So far no work around is available, so more then likely it will need to be fixed via a patch.

I have trouble with trooper too => can't start "prelude of revan" (no have quest available when start it).

Thanks for that.  Guess I'm stuck until we see something.

I also have that problem.

I was doing "rishi" but noticed something in Corelia to do and tried to clear it

So now i got "Class quest > Eclipse Squad" in my quest log, abandon button is off, only reset is up.. but even after i reset i see now

"Tasks: Complete your class story arc"

"you cannot progress in this mission without finshing your class story arc. Complete the mission "The Battle of Corellia" to proceed".

1) Im going continue rishi revan stuff.. since they are story line quests, maybe above text is wrong (regarding the need to do battle of corellia" .. maybe he just checking if we completed all story lines quests, which we didnt since im dong revan story ?

2) how/where can i check for that achievement you linked ? the Trooper chapter 3 ?

In your Legacy window it is under:

- Achievements

- Location

- General

You should then see achievement sections for Chapters 1, 2 and 3.

I got the same bug on my character when doing Chapter 9 of the KotFE story. All quest tasks are greyed out (= completed) but the quest doesn't advance to the next quest step.

From my understanding, this bug occurs with all quest tasks that require another quest to be completed. If you complete the quest after landing on this task, it works correctly but if the quest is already completed when you get that task, it won't work.

Hopefully, this will be fixed soon so I can finish the story. There are so many players affected by this bug that I'm sure they are prioritizing it. 🙂

@Raidell thinking that they are prioritizing this bug is wrong as they have said they are working through kotfe bugs and since this is a sor bug its on a back burner in their minds unless enogh of us start cancelling our subs because of something like this i personally cant progress my chars past this point since im the type that wants to experience the story, but ye the bug is apparently happening to everyone since all the people ive talked to have this bug and ive read about one or two people who put in tickets to customer service/support recieve a reply stating that these quests are repeatable, now if these replys are automated it makes me think they have a major coding issue happening if these are actual responses then they need to re-educate their people on this game.

From the patch notes for 4.0.2a.

"Players are now able to start Class-specific MIssions on Rishi."

Waiting on the servers to come back up, and will check if it works I guess.
