Trying to subscribe error, will not accept card

Coming back after a break, and am trying to resubscribe. Have tried both 1-month recurring and the 60 day non-recurring options, and I've gotten the same error. Something about not being able to use ...

    @Z-Hans_Yolo 

    in short no changing the swtor email wont help 

    all you need to do is per my previous post

    The Linked EA account has been disabled ( this was created when the swtor account was created )

    use this link  insert the gmail email address used on your swtor account, to restore the account 

    use incognito mode with chrome or another web browser to be sure the browser cache isnt an issue after

I don't think I've made an EA account with the email I changed my SWTOR account to, all "electronic arts" emails I have under the SWTOR account's email are from specifically SWTOR, none from EA.

Would switching the SWTOR account's email back to the previous email (the one that I know my EA account is under) solve the issue? 

I just don't want to lose anything I've purchased/spent time doing in SWTOR by moving it to a new EA account
