Unable to Install/Link SWTOR Collectors Edition via Origin Premier
1. I purchased SWTOR Collectors Edition via EA during original release.
2. I played on and off until a year or so ago.
3. Recently I subscribed to Origin Premier and intended to use the service to continue playing SWTOR and downloaded the launcher.
4. I loss my security key fob during our homes destruction and used the one time access password to remove it and set up a mobile phone authenticator via the SWTOR website.
The phone authentication successfully allows me to access my account information on the EA website.
5. The Origin Premier download launcher does not recognize my password/security combination giving me the following error:
The Display Name, Password, or Seucrity Key you have entered is incorrect. Please confirm your login information.
Just to clarify the login for Swtor and EA origin are linked for password however the username is different and independent of each other.
The Mobile phone Authentication for EA / Origin also does not work for swtor login, they are setup independent of each other.
If you had a security key on the swtor account you can remove it per this guide
