Unable to launch SWTOR - from steam or launcher

So, after the latest update to SWTOR delivered by Steam I am unable to launch the game. I have verified my files through Steam and no problems reported. I have run the swtor diagnostic file from th...

so - problem solved.

Navigated to the file location and deleted the two metafile.json files that were created during the latest patch. Then ran the swtor launcher and it has verified the files from the latest patch and repaired itself and loaded the launcher.exe application as required.
