you will also need to relink the swtor account to the steam account , if you try to purchase on steam with the accounts not linked then steam does not know what account the sub is for

I m gonna follow your steps but i would prefer not to deal with Steam at all. 

I removed swotr from Steam altogether. The only thing that has to do with Steam now is a canceled subscription.

To fix the account for future purchases ( this is also why the steam purchase failed to add the gametime) 
You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account EA persona: akradu  uses the same yahoo email as on your swtor account 

use the following link (insert the swtor email) to reset the password then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing

for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared

when i checked they had no email yet from but likley you are just sending it shortly 

before support can add the steam gametime though you need to fix the above and also relink the swtor account to steam , once the gametime has been added by support you can unlink from steam if you wish

Much appreciated. I did not know that my account was linked with yahoo. I was using the Gmail account for everything, but swotr account was made long ago, so make sense that i was using yahoo. 

I did what you guided me to and it works. I can reach the purchase page on swotr website incognito. I did not do it so far because i am waiting for a reply via e-mail.

I will check for your email again in the next hour to give time for it to get through the gateway 

dont forget you will need to link steam to that swtor account before they can add any gametime to the account ( no way around that i'm afriad )

So i just reinstall Swotr through Steam? That's the way i link it?

essentially install via steam then login and play a character and log out completely to link correctly

Support confirmed your email is in the queue for an agent 

account is active now and also linked to steam, so just need to wait for their reply now
