Want to try before I buy - can buy goodies later?

Cant seem to find chat support and not interested in calling.

Thinking about getting this game - but want to test drive before I start paying money to it.

So can I get the free version (Via origin) and if I like it - buy the deluxe edition after some time?

Thanks.

Yes you can purchase the deluxe after playing on origin

The client i linked is also installed via origin so it can be standalone not through origin , or through steam and origin , but both use the launcher client i have linked

You can't install Swtor over Origin, but it is essential an free to play Game with an Subscription Option.

  • Care to try again? - also telling me its a free game is stating the obvious.

    So ill ask again.

Can I try this game over origin - then if i like it - buy the deluxe edition after the fact?

Finally...someone who understands what I'm asking.

    Thanks.

If you could confirm for me  - If I used the Origin client - I can still buy the deluxe set later after test driving with the free version?

Steam will very likely have Origin "Thin" Client - which is a utter piece of trash.

The standalone game you pointed too - I'd be surprised if there was no "Client" to speak of - does it?

Went through this with Mass Effect Legendary (Steam) and I don't care to deal with it right now.

Steam may have better options - but I'd rather not have them anywhere near a "Subscription" type setup of any kind - too many horror stories from FFXIV players over the years.

Steams a great platform for games - but subscription games tend to be a problem at times from what I've heard.

    Once again - Thanks. 🙂

  • Much obliged.

What your confirming is the thin client is still there which is the same base platform of the main Origin client - so its a matter of preference at that point.

Might as well use Origin's full client so I can change options and tell it to "be quiet" where thin client requires intentionally damaging certain dll's to stop "toast" from popping over steam achievements like Mass Effect Legendary did. ME Andromeda was just as bad too.

Thanks for your patience and time in answering my questions.

I'll give it a test drive and see If I like it or not. 🙂
