Easy Out of Bounds in Final Mission

As the title states, you can fall off the map extremely easily during the final mission. These doors toggle open, and one of them leads directly to an  infinite plunge. Luckily the game auto saved right after leaving combat the first time this happened to me, so I didn't lose progress. No crazy settings or difficulties or anything. Just playing through on mostly default intended stuff.
