I’m still confused though - I have the Rebels at Lv65 (long past the point of needing Mk V Cresh) and the ISB characters at Lv 49/50.
To take my ISB to Lv55 (last level you need Mk V Cresh) would need 6250 pieces but I’ve got 14.2k of them. I’ve never bought any materials with money or crystals (I’ve bought a single crystal purchase of currency).
Out of interest, I decided to calculate the amount of materials required to level up characters to the 70th era level (MK VI Besh ability module). And now there are enough of them!
10850*4=43300 from bosses, 800 from events on the droid. Total: 44100. Considering that each character requires 6,000 units of this material to reach level 70, we have enough material for all 7 characters, even with a 2100 reserve.
