We're still missing the Galactic Challenges
The Galactic Challenges were a bright spot in this game. Have a new character, squad, or mod idea, to test out? Load up the GC Want to get better at 3v3? Load up the GC Have a few minutes of free time to kill? Load up the GC Now we have nowhere to test things out. Nowhere to improve in 3v3. Nowhere to kill time in this game. The Coliseum is the opposite of fun and useful, and the way that the GCs have been co-opted for the Eras has left them as a shadow of their former selves Please bring back the GCs. They are terribly missed29Views1like1CommentThe situation with the Zetas has been extremely difficult lately.
I don't want to speak for everyone. I'm speaking exclusively for myself. But it's impossible to remain silent anymore. I'm almost at the Legend Hondo. I saved up some Zetas for Hondo. I gave Zetas to Silvo, Brute, and Vein. But there are no more for Pirate Droid, which requires 3 Zetas, nor for Maz, which requires 3 Zetas, nor for her pack, which consumes 6 Zetas, two per character. Plus, Satel Shan is the first character from Conquest to consume 4 Zetas. There's a catastrophic lack of Zetas for me, and maybe not just for me. Characters level up very quickly these days, much faster than they used to. And the lack of Zetas has become very noticeable. At one point, I abandoned the new Bad Batch for this reason, concentrating solely on Mace Windu. Because they consumed an unbearable amount of Zetas. For whales and veteran players, this isn't a problem, of course. But the game isn't all about them.181Views5likes5CommentsOn Pirates and conquest
Every time the galactic conquest happens I can’t get to the final box, even on easy, for one reason: them bloody pirates. There is a task that requires a full pirate squad, there are also tasks that need specific pirates, but the underlying theme is you can’t lightspeed these bar stewards :). I’ve lightspeeded Hondo, Nest, and Sana, primarily for Order 66, but the rest of them… nah, can’t do it. At the same time grinding them all the way up will take one hell of a time, and only makes sense if one is obsessed with getting GL Hondo, while there are other GLs that are easier to get and are more useful when it comes to combinations with other toons, whether light or dark side. I understand these pirates are probably previous era units, but if you came later than that era well, tough luck. I’d suggest to either modify conquest tasks so that you do not require a full pirate squad at relic level, or make them lightspeedable, even if only for cash or rare era tokens. I guess I’m not alone at that. Thanks.Solved194Views0likes5CommentsLess "NEW" Characters - Add and Update Content
Era's, has mostly been a complete disaster. This anniversary update, some of which was good, has been massively overshadowed by how terrible and boringly repetitive Coliseum is and the level of greed shown when whaling to (almost) max a character. To keep the player base, we NEED content. Not character releases. Yes I know which one brings in money, but when new content comes to the game and it is fun and enjoyable. Players are more willing to spend, even its a player who almost never spends, might start because they are finally having a good time. Territory Wars - Needs a massive update. Half a decade or more now with zero changes. Guilds either GO GO GO and try to win all of them. Guilds join just to lose and move on. Other Guilds have a Lose / Win plan. Territory War needs the GAC treatment. Start ranking Guilds by Ranks and then Points within the Ranks. 4-guild Tournament that leads to Winners and Losers Brackets. Update the rewards Drastically, and to encourage participation - daily rewards. Give the Guild leaders ability to Pre-Plan defense layouts. Guild leaders can put in suggested line-ups for each zone and then when a player goes to place a defense, the suggestions shows up and allows a click and fill option. Then the only thing the player has to manually do is add Datacron and "Place Defense." Additional possibility, allow the Guild leader entire power and force set teams for ALL guild members. Territory Battles - ROTE is decent. But the time sink is a bit much. I stick to my suggestion in the past, bring back starring each battle. Then if a node is 3-starred, give the option to auto-fill simmable team. If you manage to 3-star a node with multiple teams, allow a team to be chosen and then simmed. That would deploy the characters and auto complete the battle. Special nodes can be varied depending on if they reward points or currency rewards. Raids - PLEASE for the Love of all deities, let them rotate. Revive the original raids. Bring by that feeling of completing a phase and mid-battle cut-scene to start the next phase. Order 66 is a massive step up from Naboo, but being stuck doing the same-old thing each and every raid is numbing. CG, you have the players, you have the IP. It is on your shoulders how much longer this game survives.165Views5likes5CommentsCharacter Idea: Darth Marr
Inspiration: Stalwart Sith Lord of the old republic who defended his empire for the prosperity of its people, as well as befriending the likes of Satele Shan to stop Darth Revan's resurrection of the ancient sith emperor Vitiate. Unit name: Darth Marr Alignment: Dark Side Tags: Attacker Sith Sith Empire Relic Amplifier: Tulak Hords lightsaber Attacks and Abilities: Basic: Dismember Deal physical damage to target enemy while doing 10% damage to targets max health. Special: Corrosive Arc Marr unleashes force lightning, damaging all enemies while also inflicting shock and ability block. Additionally, the strongest and weakest enemy are inflicted with healing immunity and expose for 2 turns. All allies recover 2% health from damage dealt. Leader: Preserve The Empire All allies have 20% critical avoidance, defense and health steal. Afterwards, whenever an ally attacks out of turn, they gain 2% additional critical avoidance, defense and health steal (stacking max 100%) until the end of battle. Sith Empire allies are immune to turn meter reduction. Unique: The Dark Counsel Marr has 50% defense and tenacity. Whenever he takes damage from an enemy that attacks out of turn, they are inflicted with 3 stacks of damage over time, this is doubled for jedi enemies, tripled against sith enemies. Unique: There is only the force...and it has a plan At the start of battle, if there are no Galactic Legends and the only other ally is Satele Shan: Marr gains the Old Republic tag, Satele gains the Sith Empire tag. If Satele Shan is the leader: whenever her health falls below 25%, Marr assists and his cooldowns are reset. If Darth Marr is the leader: whenever his health falls below 50%, his health is equalized with Satele, then she recovers 5% protection from damage Marr recieved.472Views3likes2Comments"We want to be upfront about the Journey Guide requirements from Day 1:"
I guess something somewhere along the way changed with being upfront and moving goalpost, because Dedra was such a bad character and most people didn't bother to upgrade her so now you're forcing people to upgrade her354Views4likes13CommentsTrial of Ascension needed like Summoners Wars has.
Like SWGOH, Summoners War has been around to play for over 10 years, 12+ to be precise. Both games are collecting characters, leveling them up, battling them in PVP & PVE, mods ( runes ) and leveling them up as well. A few differences are in SWGOH you have only one of each character, Summoners Wars ( SW ) multiple can exist as well as using duplicates to upgrade skills. One mode that SWGOH could emulate from SW is a trial of Ascension. It consists of 100 levels for easy and hard modes and 10 levels for hell mode. Rewards consist of scrolls to summon 3 star monsters ( 5 star monsters being the rarest ) Crystal rewards every level ending in 5 ( I.e. 5,15,25,35…) increased at each reward level. Energy for Trial of Ascension ( TOA ) is normal energy, but as SWGOH is stingy with energy, a new energy may be needed. SW currently has 500 energy max and so much bonus energy given I am always maxed out daily. TOA type game would work and bring in more play time to SWGOH and would probably be better than Colosseum. Imagine 200 plus levels to defeat over a month? Finding the right team comps, and earning more rewards. SW is still earning money for Com2Us and is a great game with so much content and a great tutorial system.77Views0likes3Comments
