  • Wish I could trade some of my 16,000 sims for some of yer credits.
  • I have a thousand sim tickets. I sim everything I can. You need to refresh energy twice a day at least.
  • I did three recharges of canteen energy During the last days for the farming of Phoenix characters, however, my sim declined a lot
  • @N1c0:

Cantina energy refresh comes with 10 sim tickets. Regular energy refresh comes with 20.

If you're simming Cantina Battles for 8 energy, you use 120/8 = 15 sim tickets. But you only got 10 with your refresh.
Total loss = 5 per refresh.
...but you probably pick up 1-2, sometimes as many as 3 tickets. Total loss will usually be 4, but as high as 5 and as low as 1.

Cantina Battles for 10 energy (stage 3 & 4), you use 120/10 = 12 sim tickets. You got 10 with your refresh.
Total loss = 2 per refresh.
...picking up 0 to 4 tickets, your total loss is probably 1, as high as 2 and you may earn 1 or 2 at best.

Cantina Battles for 12 energy (stage 5 & 6), you use 120/12 = 10 sim tickets. You got 10 with your refresh.
Total loss = 0 per refresh.
...picking up 0 to 4 tickets, you cannot lose tickets, probably gain one, and might gain as many as 4.

Cantina Battles for 16 energy (stage 7 & 8), you use 120/16 = 7.5 sim tickets. You got 10 with your refresh.
Total gain = 2.5 per refresh (on average, obviously not exactly 2.5).
...picking up 0 to 4 tickets, you cannot lose tickets, probably gain 3.5, and might gain as many as 6.5.

Hera & Ezra were 8 energy per attempt. Typically lose 4 tickets per refresh, but not uncommon to lose 5 per.

You got 120 energy per day for free - lose 15 sim tickets.

You did 3 cantina energy refreshes/day - lose 10-15 tickets.

So if you're spending all your crystals on Cantina energy and farming only from stages 1 & 2, you lose 25-31 tickets in an average day.

You get 25 back from daily activities, or 35 if you've done mods. But you're probably also spending tickets on simming your challenges. That's 8/day. but 24 each Sunday.

SO... if you did what you said over the weekend with 3 energy refreshes, then you lost 33-39 tickets while swimming and gained 35: that's close to breaking even. Maybe lose 4, maybe gain 2.

    BUT...
Now you're getting no tickets at all for your regular energy battles.

If you're farming shards, it's not too bad. Minimum 12 energy per battle. If you're farming gear (which you might, since you're getting new toons from all the cantina energy you're spending), that's 6 energy per battle minimum.

    240 energy per day
    plus
    45 x3 bonus energy = 135.

375 regular energy per day. Worst case is gear farming for 6/attempt = lose 62 tickets per day.

Best case is farming ONLY shards and ONLY from Stage 7+. 20/attempt = lose 18-19 tickets per day.

In the middle is a little gear farming, a little shard farming, average 12/attempts = lose 31 tickets per day.
    Total loss = 31 + (-2 to +4) = about 30-35/day.

On sunday, you lose an extra 16 tickets per day. Total loss = 47/day + (-2 to +4) = about 45-50 on sunday.

When you're spending all your crystals on Cantina energy, you can lose tickets in a hurry.

  • On the other hand, if you're shard farming in Normal energy Hard Nodes

Gain 20 sim tickets per refresh. 120 energy per refresh.

AT WORST in shard farming, spend 12 energy per refresh = 120/12 = 10 sim tickets spent. Since you got 20, you actually increase by 10 sim tickets.

At BEST in shard farming, spend 20 energy per refresh = 120/20 = 6 sim tickets spent. You gain 14 per refresh.

With 35/day to take care of simming your free energy, and if you manual at least some of your challenges, you can get tickets back VERY quickly buying regular energy.

I try to find Stage 7-9 Hard Nodes with 2 different purple gear I need. Then the 20 energy is giving one chance each at 2 different pieces of gear, it's the same as farming a normal node for gear at 10 energy/attempt, but it costs 1/2 the sim tickets AND as a bonus you get some shards. Maybe it's a character you don't really want, but the shards are free, so why complain? And if it's a character you will eventually want, you get a small head start before focussing your farming later.

That way, I slowly build up tickets so if I have a day or three in a row when I don't have time to play, I have plenty of tickets to sim everything, even challenges.
