0/8 on zeta farming again

I was averaging about 2.5/week from challenges in early February but that average has dropped off. I farmed a total of 9 from the challenge node in all of February and 1 so far in March. At best I will get 1/day from the challenge. I. Focused on ships first so now I can easily take 1st place and I have resorted to buying zetas because I can't wait 2 months to farm 1 zeta ability.

I feel ya man, went 0 for 16 last month. I wish they'd flatten the highs and lows of these things. Make them always award one, lower the chance to award 2 if they must.

17/20 today. Have gotten 3, one today, zetas parts in total since my last full one. Was hoping for more today but instead of being able to enjoy the game I now have to wait another !!!!6 DAYS!!! for 20/20. I assuming 0/4 tomorrow based on past history of drop rates. Not gonna want to wait another 30-40 days for another one.

Totally relate. I was 4/30 until today: 3 zetas this morning.

That can only mean I'm going 0-50 for the next 8 weeks.

These drop rates are making me lean heavily towards just buying the zetas and take my time farming ships to unlock the challenge. I already started late with ship farming. Sounds like I'll be even further behind if I wait to buy them after unlocking it

uncontrary to many comments in this thread, i get approximately 1 zeta per challenge day, so ~3 per week. Needless to say, i think it's worth it to farm the ships. It won't hurt having the ships either, most of them can be farmed from GW store. Poe's X-wing and Slave 1, Vader's Tie (for tarkin) are the only ships that i used to 3star the zeta challenge wich couldn't be farmed in the GW store. All 3 can be replaced by gw-farmable ships.

Yea I'll definitely keep the currency back for Slave 1 shards since I almost have it to 6*, but I have a Vader that's waiting for Zeta. In that process I'll continue farming my remaining ships in the GW.

I generally average 3 zetas a week up until I'm on 18 or 19/20 then I won't get any for a few weeks so I just buy the last 1 or 2 I need now. Currently have 2/20 for my third zeta.

I'm not trying to rub it in (if I am having better luck) just felt like I should put it out there so some people aren't discouraged from going the farm route.

I'm guessing people who are doing ok with zetas aren't posting as there seems to be a lot of people saying they should improve the drop rates.
