Last event was 75 days ago, again for 10 MT shards. So if someone like me needs 235 shards, or 23.5 sets of 10, is it safe to assume that we will need 1762 days or 4.82 years for our MT to reach 7*...

You also unlock the bonus tier for 2-4 extra zetas each month after you get her to 7☆. Combined with the wicket event rewards that is quite a few extra zetas for those who dont do well in fleet arena.
